About the project
The Lakota Wool & Design Center establishes a space in Rapid City, South Dakota, where the Lakota Native American community can flourish on ancestral lands. Responding to histories of displacement and economic marginalization, the project provides infrastructure for a self-sustaining wool production and processing industry rooted in indigenous land stewardship.
