Stephanie Leedom

Stephanie Leedom is the Executive Director for CannonDesign’s Great Lakes region, where she leads vision and strategy for the firm’s regional offices in Chicago, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Minneapolis. With 25 years of experience in architecture and urban design, Stephanie has held senior leadership positions across the public and private sectors. Her career includes leadership roles with the U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Buildings Operations, the General Services Administration (GSA), and the Fairfax County Park Authority. Her diverse portfolio spans international diplomatic facilities, large-scale urban planning, and municipal development. Stephanie holds a Master’s Degree in Urban Design from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech. She currently serves on the AIA Strategic Council as an At-large Councilor, and on the board of the Open Architecture Collaborative. Stephanie lives in Washington, DC with her husband, 3 teenagers, and their beloved pitt bull Jessie.
