Aaron McDonald
Aaron McDonald is an accomplished architect known for his rigorously thoughtful approach to cultural and institutional design. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
Early in his career, Aaron spent a decade as a project architect with Philip Johnson, where he worked on museum and cultural projects. He went on to establish and lead his own practice for 24 years, producing a diverse portfolio of award-winning work characterized by conceptual clarity and material sensitivity.
Aaron is a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome, a recipient of a National Design Award from the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA), and has exhibited his work at the Venice Biennale. He recently joined Ronnette Riley Architect in New York, where he continues to focus on contextually engaged design across a range of building types.
