| Fellow Members Fellow membership - Shall be available, upon application therefore, to all professional members of the Society: 1) Who shall have been a member for not less than ten (10) years prior to date of application; and 2) Who shall have practiced the profession of architecture as a registered or licensed architect for not less than ten (10) years as an individual, or as a member, partner or associate of a firm engaged in the practice of architecture, or as an employee of a firm, company or government agency in a capacity which by law or regulation requires the services of a registered or licensed architect and the principal duties of such position are those of a professional architect; and 3) Who shall have provided exemplary services to the Society, * a) as a national, state or chapter officer, and/or * b) as a chairperson or member of a national, state or chapter committee, and/or * c) with other similar significant services to SARA as recognized by the National Executive Board; and 4) Who shall have provided evidence of outstanding achievement either in design, architectural practice, construction procedures, or service to or advancement of the profession of architecture. The honor of Fellowship shall be bestowed upon the applicant at the first Annual National convention following his/her acceptance. Rights of Fellow Members Members, Fellow Members and Emeritus Members shall have all of the rights and privileges of Society membership, including the right to vote, hold office, and to represent the Society or any component thereof when so duly authorized. Members shall be entitled to use as identification the title ·"Member, American Registered Architects" and the initials A.R.A. Fellow Members shall be entitled to use as identification the title "Fellow, American Registered Architects", and the initials F.A.R.A. |
